Phaneendra loves to read. He spends about 3 to 4 hours a day reading and keeping himself abreast on topics of this interest. He is a long time Pugmarks user, and believes that Pugmarks is a tool that is made for him. Phaneendra recalls how he went from a information geek struggling to keep up and to one who is on top of things.

Pugmarks as his main information source

I start with reading an article on my favorite site. Then I follow Pugmark recommendations, and then the chain goes on and on. At times I visit the Pugmarks site to view more reading recommendations. It has completely reduced usage of Twitter. Earlier, I used to use Stumbleupon and Delicious to find good content. Now I have stopped visiting all those sites. I like to see exact recommendations related to what I am reading now.

Understanding friends from what they share

When Pugmarks shows icons from my friends alongside recommendations, not only do I know that it would be a quality article, it also gives me a clue about topics in which my friends are interested.
