Saves me time on research and trend spotting

Pugmarks has replaced something that I would do manually. Instead of opening a new tab to find what is happening on Washington Post, New York Times or Google News on a topic. I now browse in one place with Pugmarks recommendations.

The Pugmarks ribbon on each article page is my favorite feature

Two thirds of my Pugmarks usage is through the suggested stories feature on the ribbon. The rest of the time I click on the Explore button in the ribbon. It gives me deeper content and highlights different angles. I could also get a sense of angles of a story that aren’t being covered.

Pugmarks is my second level of reading

Pugmarks is my second level of reading. I have my own first set of cues. Once done reading the first level, I move on to the next one presented by Pugmarks. Pugmarks adds controlled discovery. I can see the source, title and excerpt and then click more.
